Jabiru

The ultimate tourer

Flying over remote areas? The J432 adds the extra dimension of twin-engine performance and safety, while building on the proven handling qualities and performance of the 230/430 airframe. With four seats and generous power, it stands out as a true touring aircraft built to go the distance.

Its comfortable endurance, payload and 125 kt cruise speed make it possible to travel with peace of mind. And while flying a twin has its own appeal, the J432 retains Jabiru’s hallmark agility and remains a particularly enjoyable aircraft to fly.

With an instrument panel extensively equipped with Dynon avionics, the J432 may well be one of the simplest twins in its class to operate. It is leisure touring at its most accomplished.

Aircraft

Safety

At Jabiru, the goal is not only to protect you, but also to give you genuine confidence in flight. With a proven safety record, Jabiru is a benchmark for safety in the Light Sport Aircraft world. This commitment starts with the flight characteristics themselves. The J432 is a pleasant aircraft, with healthy, predictable and reassuring handling. The engine nacelle placement limits induced yaw, allowing you to enjoy twin-engine flying without any tricky behaviour.

The carefully considered ergonomics of the controls and the intuitive instrument panel design allow the pilot to keep attention where it should be: on flying. The J432’s build quality is designed to last, as demonstrated by the many Jabiru aircraft that have been flying reliably for decades. Powered by the reliable GEN4, it continues to build a strong reputation for reliability, while incorporating a reinforced nacelle that contributes to crew protection.

Approach

Cost control

At Jabiru, every investment must make sense. Beyond its attractive purchase price, the J432 was designed to limit operating costs and maintain sound budget control over time, for both private owners and operators.

Thanks to a simple, durable design, maintenance costs remain under control. Jabiru also ensures that spare parts and repairs remain accessible. With fuel consumption of around 30 litres per hour, the J432 keeps hourly costs highly competitive, without compromising on quality.

JABIRU

Propulsion

At Jabiru, choosing to keep production in-house makes it possible to maintain a high level of quality control while keeping costs at a reasonable level. The J432 is powered by two GEN4 2200 engines mounted in nacelles, compact and robust 4-cylinder units producing 60 kW (80 hp) each. These engines deliver efficient, reliable power with reduced maintenance requirements, ensuring operation that is both economical and safe.

Paired with Jabiru two-blade, fixed-pitch composite scimitar-type propellers, they optimise overall performance and fuel efficiency. This carefully refined engine-propeller package delivers consistent, smooth performance, in line with Jabiru’s commitment to reliable, simple and economically controlled aviation.
